Collection: Jonette Jewelry (JJ)

J.J. Jewelry Company was originally founded by Abraham Lisker in 1935 as the Providence Jewelry Company. It later became Lisker and Lisker, Inc., when his brother Nathan joined. The impact of World War II led to a production hiatus, which resumed after the war. Eventually, the company was renamed Jonette Jewelry. After 69 years of operation, Jonette Jewelry announced its closure in September 2008 due to foreign competition and market challenges.
