9ct Gold Opal Triplet Leverback Earrings

9ct Gold Opal Triplet Leverback Earrings featuring pale blue rectangular opal triplets bezel set in a 9ct gold frame with three diamond chips in a vertical row above each opal. An opal triplet is a thin slice of opal which has a backing of resin or black potch and then a clear plastic, glass or quartz top layer, applied to the face giving the appearance of a bigger opal. The earrings measure 2.1cm high including the wire on the leverback and 0.7cm wide and they weigh 1.9g. They are stamped on the reverse '375' and a mark we cannot quite make out.
