Attwood and Sawyer 22ct Gold Plated Lion's Head Brooch in Original Box, featuring a handsome lion's head brooch with face and mane pave set with round clear Swarovski crystals. The lions face has been beautifully crafted with a flaming mane and almond-shaped, brown topaz glass eyes. The brooch is signed 'A&S' on the reverse and it measures 4.8cm high and 3.8cm wide, weighing 25.5g.
Attwood and Sawyer was founded in 1956 in Porthcawl, Wales by Mr Horace Attwood and Mr Sawyer. Many of the designs, now highly collectible, were inspired by historical references, including their most recognisable collection inspired by the jewellery collection of the Duchess of Windsor. Popular in the UK and Europe, they went on to produce the jewellery for the television series Dynasty.
