Vintage 1978 925 Silver Agate Pendant on 925 Silver Chain, featuring a round agate stone with skinny, wavy, parallel bands, orange on one side, translucent on the other, with paler bands in between. It is set in a sterling silver pendant with a curved, domed frame, smooth on the front, edged at the back. The necklace measures 39.5cm long and is stamped '925' on the spring ring clasp, as well as on the adjacent oval link. The pendant is marked '925,' 'IIM' (maker’s initials), the London Leo import mark (astrological sign, 1906–1998), and date letter 'D' for 1978. The pendant measures 2.7cm in diameter, the agate 2.1cm diameter, and with the chain, it weighs 15.6g. A beautiful and tactile vintage piece from 1978.
