Made In Italy for DH Evans Oxford Street Lucite Beaded Single Flap Beaded Clutch with Integral Beaded Strap featuring a zipped beaded clutch with single flap adorned with three floral appliqués. The beads are expertly interwoven together to create this beautiful handmade structured Italian handbag comprising clear round beads and shiny gold toned round metal beads.

The three dimensional floral appliqués on the front of the flap comprise faceted elongated and faceted teardrop-shaped beads for the petals in both clear lucite as well as gold tone and larger central clear round faceted beads for the centres. The three row beaded integral handle measures 40cm and the bag (with flap down) measures 17.5cm high and 20cm wide and it weighs 477g.  It is lined in a translucent slubby linen and the label reads 'MADE IN ITALY FOR D H EVANS OXFORD STREET' and the zipper (please see notes below*) is embossed 'LAMPROM'.

A beautiful tactile (with heft) 1960's Italian handmade lucite and gold coated metal beaded handbag likely made by a Italian atelier, for DH Evans of Oxford Street who were known to blend couture with everyday wear.  *The Lamprom zip is stiff and sticks when fully opened - ideally this would need replacing, this is, of course, reflected in the price - still a beautiful example of 1960's glamour.
