Christian Dior Germany Gold Plated Flawed Emerald Cabochon Clip On Earrings featuring a pair of 1980s Christian Dior deep emerald green 'flawed emerald' clip on earrings measuring 1.9cm diameter and together weighing 19g.  These gorgeous earrings comprise two flawed emerald art glass cabochons with intentional inclusions to emulate the natural imperfections of genuine emeralds, a signature of Dior’s 1980s costume jewellery.  The cabochons are encased in a gold plated, round setting with a textured, loose Byzantine-inspired design, reflecting the decade’s trend of reviving historical opulence.  They are both signed on the textured reverse 'Chr.Dior©' and both clips are signed 'Chr.Dior © GERMANY'.  Only one of the original post comfort pads is present and this is signed 'Chr.Dior © GERMANY' on the underside.  There is a very small amount of gold plating loss to the front edge on one of the earrings, visible under close inspection, but nothing to detract from their otherwise very good vintage condition - of course, this is reflected in the price.  Classic Christian Dior flawed emerald clip on earrings with timeless appeal.
