MASJ 1992 Silver Plated Pewter Floral Trio Brooch featuring a beautiful nouveau style floral design signed MASJ (Maureen Ann Story-Jones) for Silver Scenes Limited. This beautiful brooch has a rollover clasp and it measures 3.7cm high and 6.2cm wide and it weighs 12.9g. It is signed 'MASJ 92' on the reverse.

Edward Anthony and Maureen Ann Story-Jones established their family business focused on crafting silver jewellery and related items in the village of Berriew in Montgomeryshire, Wales, in 1984. In addition to jewellery, Edward Anthony and Maureen Ann crafted a variety of articles, including frames, clocks, pillboxes, and vases. The Silver Scenes collection primarily featured motifs inspired by nature, such as flowers, leaves, dragonflies, and butterflies, all meticulously detailed. These pieces were cast in pewter and then plated with silver or gold. The peak production of MASJ brooches occurred predominantly until the late 1990s, and today, they are highly sought after by collectors. Notably, MASJ pieces are often marked with a signature and date by hand or stamped with the MASJ logo.

Despite the company having new directors in both 1996 and 1998, the original founders continued to be actively involved until their retirement, with Maureen Ann retiring in 2004 and Edward Anthony in 2006. Silver Scenes Limited, the company behind the jewellery trademark, was incorporated on May 21, 1984. However, the trademark ceased to be active on May 12, 2015.
