Philippe Ferrandis Adjustable Floral Ring and Matching Clip On Earrings in Original Purple Velvet Pouch.  This beautiful adjustable ring showcases a five-petal flower with pavé set purple Swarovski crystals and a coral pink art glass centre, accented by a claw set marquise-shaped green art glass stone styled as a leaf.  A secondary three-petal flower features a round coral pink art glass stone with a bright blue Swarovski crystal centre, paired with a smaller marquise-shaped blue art glass leaf.  An oval opaline glass stone, claw set with a delicate ladybird in a milgrain setting, adds a charming whimsical touch.  One of the purple flower leaves bears an oval cartouche on the reverse, signed “Philippe Ferrandis Paris” in initial capitals.  The ring’s wide band is intricately engraved with a floral design and it measures 3.4 cm high, 1.7 cm in projection, and 3.7 cm at its widest point, and it weighs 22.5 g.  Its size is currently UK 'O' and US '7' - over-adjustment is not recommended to preserve its structure.

The matching clip-on earrings echo the ring’s floral theme, each featuring a five-petal flower with purple Swarovski crystals and a coral pink art glass centre, topped by a ladybird in a milgrain setting.  A single claw-set marquise-shaped green art glass leaf sit beneath the flower, whilst the focal point is a claw set, oval faceted padparadscha-inspired deep peach art glass stone, reminiscent of the rare sapphire’s warm hue.  Signed 'P. FERRANDIS' on the back of both clips, the earrings measure 3.3 cm high and 2.7 cm at their widest, and together they weigh 22.3 g.

Philippe Ferrandis, a Parisian costume jewellery designer, founded his atelier in 1986 after being inspired by an antique brooch discovered in his grandmother’s jewellery box. Born into a family of artists, Ferrandis developed a passion for jewellery through its representations in art and painting, leading him to launch his eponymous brand.  Known as the 'poet of costume jewellery' he creates nature-inspired designs, often featuring floral motifs, using materials like Swarovski crystals, art glass, and gold-tone metals, all handcrafted in his Parisian workshop.  His bold, spectacular pieces have earned him the prestigious EPV (Living Heritage Company) label and collaborations with couture houses such as Chanel, Balmain, and Nina Ricci.  Ferrandis produces two collections annually, blending noble, natural materials with contemporary and baroque aesthetics, which have been sold globally in boutiques and department stores like Harrods and Saks Fifth Avenue since the late 1980s.
