Rare Signed 'SAM' 'England' Serpentine Chain with Rhinestone and Smooth Gold Tone Cross Over Integral Pendant featuring a serpentine gold plated chain with a hinged fold over clasp and a convex integral pendant comprising two smooth gold plated swirls crossing a single pave set clear rhinestone swirl. This lovely necklace by a maker we have researched to no avail, is signed 'SAM' in upper case script lettering and 'ENGLAND' in block capitals on a rectangular cartouche. It measures 42cm long and the pendant measures 2.2cm high and 3.5cm at its widest point and it weighs 21.8g. 1970's or possibly early 1980's - we did notice that Vendome made the same piece with the design mirrored, so with the rhinestones on the right hand side - if anyone does know the maker please do get in touch, we would love to know.
