Anne Klein & Company was established in 1968 by fashion designer Anne Klein, her husband, and investor Gunther Oppenheim. They produced women's separates, watches, and coordinating costume jewellery. The brand's signature lion's head logo and ready-to-wear approach greatly influenced American women's apparel. After Klein's death in 1974, Donna Karan became chief designer, and Louis Dell'Olio joined as her partner. Anne Klein & Company continues to market costume jewellery styles each season to complement their clothing lines.
