Hobe

Hobé et Cie, founded in France in 1887, is known for its intricately crafted sterling silver and costume jewellery. William Hobé's family acuity for producing high-quality jewellery enabled him to costume Broadway productions during the 1920s and Hollywood films during the 1940s.  Later Hobé jewellery designs include multi-strand beaded necklaces sold during the 1950s and 1960s, and polished natural stones moving into the 1970s.
