A 1957 Hobe Demi Parure of Necklace and Clip On Earrings. This is a high end statement 1957 Hobé demi parure featuring a rhinestone encrusted bib feature necklace and clip on earrings.
The prong set necklace consists of large and small navettes (marquise), round & tear-drop rhinestones and beautiful baguette and round crystals along the length of the necklace leading to a hook clasp with an extender finished off with a clear round multi faceted crystal. The prong set clip on earrings comprise large and small navettes, round rhinestones and each has a single baguette crystal and each have the traditional Hobe comfort rollers.
All three pieces are signed Hobe. The Necklace is 34.5cm Long and the Extender is 7.5cm Long and Weighs a hefty 72g. The earrings are approximately 3cm Diameter and Weigh 12g each (24g in total). The main rhinestone colours in this set are citrine (yellow), amber (topaz / orange-brown), a rich emerald green, and a forest green, as well as the clear baguette and round crystals.
There is minimal wear to the pieces given its 63 year journey and one of the citrine navettes in the earrings is slightly dulled, but nothing to detract from their combined appeal.
