1888 Victorian Etruscan 15ct Gold Brooch with Safety Chain. A Victorian fully hallmarked brooch of round form and with etruscan design with fine bead work, a raised section with a seed pearl at the centre. Hallmarks include 15ct .625 (Anchor on side for Birmingham and date letter 'o' for 1888. The makers mark is hard to discern, but looks like KJS / RJS or similar in a rectangular cartouche. It has a 'C' Clasp gold and a pin (not gold) possibly added later. The vintage box has been used for visual aesthetics and is not included in the price. Your brooch will be gift wrapped in beautiful branded Bramble and Lily packaging including box, pink tissue and pink grosgrain ribbon.
This lovely piece measures 3.3cm diameter and has a total combined weight 5.82 grams. This piece has tones of yellow and rose gold with a few marks, but still a great piece with lovely solid design work from this period.
