A Pair of Signed Antique Hand Crafted Inlaid Nepalese/Tibetan Brass Brooches featuring deities with decorative designs inset with coral, turquoise and glass pieces. One brooch has two deities with green and white glass/mother of pearl as well as coral and turquoise, and the other brooch has one deity with black glass strips and white glass/mother of pearl as well as coral and turquoise.
They are both signed with the maker's mark on the reverse each with a 'c' clasp. Made by the Newari people of Kathmandu, Nepal. These pieces have not been cleaned. The brooch with two deities measures 5.7 tall x 5.7 at its widest point and weighs 24.2g (two stones missing) and the brooch with a single deity measures 5.3 tall x 6.4 at its widest point and weighs 18.6g (one stone worn or missing and no spring in pin)
