Attwood and Sawyer Rhodium Plated and Swarovski Crystal 'Minuet' Bow Brooch featuring a rhodium plated, Edwardian-inspired double bow with an eight-petal flower atop and a teardrop-shaped integral dropper with movement. The Swarovski crystals include clear round and clear baguettes which have plenty of fire in their sparkle. It has a rollover clasp and is signed 'A&S' on the reverse and it measures 5.7cm high, 4.3cm wide and it weighs 19.9g. It has clear bright crystals with a small area of loss to the rhodium plating on the back on one side of the dropper, but nothing to detract from the beauty of this brooch. a beautiful brooch with the exceptional craftsmanship and quality always delivered by Attwood and Sawyer.
Attwood and Sawyer was founded in 1956 in Porthcawl, Wales by Mr Horace Attwood and Mr Sawyer. Many of the designs, now highly collectible, were inspired by historical references, including their most recognisable collection inspired by the jewellery collection of the Duchess of Windsor. Popular in the UK and Europe, they went on to produce the jewellery for the television series Dynasty.
