Attwood and Sawyer Open Work Swarovski Crystal Butterfly Brooch featuring a decorative open work butterfly design encrusted with vari size round clear Swarovski Crystals and a deep blue claw set faceted glass oval stone for its thorax. It has a pretty milgrain border and it is signed A&S on its decorative reverse and it measures 3.3 cm high and 5.1 cm wide. It has a rollover clasp and it weighs 17.3g. A lovely feminine brooch in excellent condition.

Attwood and Sawyer was founded in 1956 in Porthcawl, Wales by Mr Horace Attwood and Mr Sawyer. Many of the designs, now highly collectible, were inspired by historical references, including their most recognisable collection inspired by the jewellery collection of the Duchess of Windsor. Popular in the UK and Europe, they went on to produce the jewellery for the television series Dynasty.
