Attwood and Sawyer 18ct Gold Plated 'Amori' Enamel and Crystal Bracelet featuring a rich blue and green enamel bracelet with a stylised chevron/leaf design with claw set clear faceted crystals along both sides. 'Amori' means 'to love' and this piece from the 'Amori' collection by Attwood and Sawyer is particularly easy to love. The bracelet has a fold over hinged clasp along with a safety chain with a spring ring clasp. It measures 19cm long and 2.4cm wide and it weighs 55.2g. It is not signed as was the case with some of their pieces with more complex designs, which left little or no room on the reverse. Attwood and Sawyer was founded in 1956 in Porthcawl, Wales, by Mr Horace Attwood and Mr Sawyer. Many of the designs, now highly collectible, were inspired by historical references, including their most recognisable collection inspired by the jewellery collection of the Duchess of Windsor. Popular in the UK and Europe, they went on to produce the jewellery for the television series Dynasty.
