Attwood and Sawyer 22ct Gold Plated and Enamel Modernist Clip On Earrings featuring a stylised leaf open work design comprising black and gold enamel sections alternating with textured 22ct gold plated sections. They are signed on the reverse 'A&S' and they measure 1.9cm tall and 1.5cm at their widest point and together they weigh 11.3g.
Attwood and Sawyer was founded in 1956 in Porthcawl, Wales by Mr Horace Attwood and Mr Sawyer. Many of the designs, now highly collectible, were inspired by historical references, including their most recognisable collection inspired by the jewellery collection of the Duchess of Windsor. Popular in the UK and Europe, they went on to produce the jewellery for the television series Dynasty.
