Bill Skinner 18ct Gold Plated Bee and Honeycomb Bangle featuring a beautiful hinged honeycomb bangle with the prettiest bee positioned to the one side. It has a magnetic closure and fold over safety clasp, and the inside measures 17cm suiting a smaller wrist, and it weighs 41.1g. It is thought that this gorgeous bangle is set to be a Bill Skinner classic and we agree, it is beautifully carved and a total delight. A recent piece, but sure to be a collectible. It comes with a Bill Skinner branded box and soft grey satin pouch with lime satin lining with attached lime grosgrain ribbons.
Having graduated from Sir John Cass College of Art in 1965, Bill Skinner developed his skills, which included pattern making at London's famed Hatton Garden area. He was quickly recognised as an emerging talent in design and craftsmanship and so he began freelancing for high end jewellers such as Van Cleef and Arpels, Asprey and Garrards.
During the 1980s Bill's work was attacting critical acclaim, and he began working with costumer jewellers, Butler and Wilson and Vivienne Westwood. This association with fashion jewellery continues to this day, having worked for some of the world's most recognised jewellery brands as well as receiving Royal commissions.
In January 2012 Bill launched his own namesake brand of fashion jewellery, whose first collections received international praise, and continues to deliver beautiful jewellery to this day.
