Signed Czecho Eastern-Inspired Art Deco Pressed Glass Dropper Leverback Earrings capture the 1920s / 1930s fascination with the exotic, blending eastern-inspired motifs with Art Deco design. Crafted in bronze-toned metal, they feature faces with jewelled turbans, imagined as genies, though likely stylised Eastern noble figures with a mystical allure. The turbans are accented with a red rhinestones positioned at the centre and smaller pink rhinestones at the ears. Clear round beads and black seed beads create a pretty link between the detailed faces and the pink pressed glass dropper. Set inside substantial decorative milgrain cups, these beautiful salmon pink pressed glass teardrop-shaped droppers with a clear outer layer, showcase Czech layered glass techniques. The raised “Czecho” signature on the droppers’ backs confirms their Bohemian origin, reflecting Jablonec’s Art Deco craftsmanship. These gorgeous earrings have leverback hooks, which help date them likely to latter half of 1930's - they measure 11.5cm long and together they weigh 22g.
