Hand Knotted Art Deco Black Venetian Art Glass Lampwork Wedding Cake Bead Necklace featuring shimmering gold aventurine with pink enamel roses on black glass. 'Avventurina' is a Murano glass-making technique developed on Murano island in the 17th century. The aventurine is expertly applied to the large beads and each bead is also dotted with tiny blue and yellow dot lampwork. The necklace, which is 78cm long with a gold tone screw barrel clasp has seven larger round wedding cake beads of equal size.

These focal beads are strung alternately with 8 aventurine tubular beads with helical aventurine application, round black glossy beads and smaller bronze toned beads. Every bead also has a filigree gold bead cap on both sides apart from the small bronze toned beads. Every bead is knotted into place with brown tonal silk and the necklace weighs 61.4g. This necklace has a beautiful feel to it - very tactile indeed!
