Large Attwood and Sawyer 22ct Gold Plated Dolphin Pave and Enamel Brooch

Large Attwood and Sawyer Dolphin Brooch featuring pave crystal and green and blue shimmering enamel set in a 22ct gold plated frame. The brooch is 4.5cm long and 4cm deep from tip of gold dorsal fin to tip of gold mouth and weighs 25g. The dolphin shows a sense of morality, an innate goodwill that shines through, they are seen as a good omen.

Attwood and Sawyer was founded in 1956 in Porthcawl, Wales by Mr Horace Attwood and Mr Sawyer. Many of the designs, now highly collectible, were inspired by historical references, including their most recognisable collection inspired by the jewellery collection of the Duchess of Windsor. Popular in the UK and Europe, they went on to produce the jewellery for the television series Dynasty.
