Links of London Concorde 925 Silver Torpedo Cufflinks 2003 featuring a larger than average pair of Links of London Concorde torpedo cufflinks in 925 silver with the date letter 'd' for 2003.  This was the year that Concorde made its last commercial flights and eventually its final flight from Heathrow to Filton in Bristol.  These beautiful cufflinks were made by Links of London for British Airways as a tribute to the retirement of the iconic Concorde.  They measure 3.4cm long and 1.6cm wide and together they weigh 10.3g.

On October 24, 2003, Concorde conducted its last commercial flights, with the British Airways fleet touching down sequentially at Heathrow Airport.  Then, on November 26, 2003, the very last flight of Concorde took off from Heathrow, flying over Bristol, and finally landing at Filton Airfield.  It was designated the flight number BA002 for its last flight, which was the commercial flight number it used on its New York to London route throughout its commercial service since 21st January 1976.

They were primarily intended for individuals directly connected to the Concorde's legacy, including British Airways staff who had worked on or with the aircraft, particularly those in flight operations, maintenance, and customer service.  Additionally, they were given to select passengers who had flown on Concorde or were part of special events and promotions related to its service.  These cufflinks symbolised the end of an era, serving as a unique piece of memorabilia for those who were part of or closely associated with Concorde's remarkable history.
