Rare Attwood and Sawyer 22ct Gold Plated Magnificent Articulated Dragonfly Brooch featuring a huge piece by Attwood and Sawyer measuring 9.2cm high and 11.4cm at its widest point and weighing a hefty 85.8g. This exceptional articulated brooch features a beautiful Dragonfly design comprising pave set vari size clear Swarovski crystals and accented with a lapis lazuli effect high domed art glass cabochon as the centre, two red faceted round bezel set Swarovski crystals at the end of its antennae and a single green faceted round bezel set Swarovski crystal at the end of its articulated tail. The articulated tail comprises 8 graduated chevron-shape pieces each with pave set Swarovski Crystals. Superb quality, and a real conversation piece, this is a very sparkly brooch with lots of movement, an absolute must for any collector of Attwood and Sawyer or Dragonfly lovers. It has a rollover clasp and it is signed A&S on its 22ct gold plated textured reverse.

Attwood and Sawyer was founded in 1956 in Porthcawl, Wales, by Mr Horace Attwood and Mr Sawyer. Many of the designs, now highly collectible, were inspired by historical references, including their most recognisable collection inspired by the jewellery collection of the Duchess of Windsor. Popular in the UK and Europe, they went on to produce the jewellery for the television series Dynasty.
