Rare Miriam Haskell Brooch with the Horseshoe Cartouche, highly sought after by her growing number of adoring fans and collectors. This is such a beautiful piece, the detailing synonymous with Haskell's wonderful style and femininity. The Horseshoe Cartouche dates the brooch specifically to between 1948 and 1950, so not many were produced. It combines a floral display in a variety of pink tones with her famous butterfly perched at the one side. Stones include molded glass beads, baguette crystals, round crystals, all hand worked beautifully into Haskell's Russian Gold brooch frame and her beautiful filigree back. Absolutely stunning craftsmanship. It measures 5.5cm at its tallest point and 4.7cm at its widest point and it weighs 29g.
