Unsigned Byzantine Etruscan Revival Statement Necklace with Integral Chain Likely by Alexis Kirk or Judith Leiber
Unsigned 1970's Byzantine Etruscan Revival Statement Necklace with Integral Chain featuring a split repousse gold tone plaque with a bezel set faceted glass citrine coloured oval stone at the centre, which is attached to one side of the plaque, and a row of five droppers with cream and citrine coloured glass beads along the bottom edge of the plaque. The necklace has an oval link chain with a foldover clasp.
I have attached separate photographs including two pictures of a belt by Alexis Kirk as well as one picture of a necklace by Judith Leiber, the plaques used in both are identical. This shaped plaque has been used by both designers on their belts as well as their necklaces. The necklace is 59cm long and the plaque measures 12.5cm high and 5.8cm wide and it weighs 94.6g. This piece is unsigned and this is reflected in the price. A lovely statement necklace for Etruscan Revival Lovers.
