Vintage Enamel and Crystal Omega Back Pierced Earrings

Vintage Enamel and Crystal Omega Back Pierced Earrings featuring sparkling vintage pierced earrings with a geometric design typical of the late 1960s to early 1970s. Each earring has a cushion shape with smooth cream enamel panels contrasting with pavé-set clear crystals in a warm gold tone setting.  The design is divided into quarters, with one side comprising a vertical row of crystals and the other horizontal rows creating a clean, modernist 'patchwork' effect that catches the light beautifully.  They are fitted with comfortable omega backs, which were highly popular during this era for secure and easy wear on pierced ears.  These earrings perfectly capture the transition from mid-century modernism into the early 1970s style seen in pieces by design houses such as Dior, Givenchy and S.A.L. around the same time.  They measure 1.7cm high and 1.7cm wide and together they weigh 12.2g.  A really beautiful sparkling pair of earrings with very minor signs of age-related wear only upon close inspection.
