It measures 45cm with a 5cm extender and features a rhombus-shaped hangtag stamped with the iconic ‘V&A’ logo. A teardrop-shaped faux turquoise, echoing the vibrant hues of 19th-century jewellery, is framed in a delicate milgrain setting, a modern nod to the brooch’s original grainti work, accented by smaller faux turquoise faceted stones along the edges. Two drops of varied lengths cascade from the pendant, each adorned with claw set, faceted faux turquoise stones, leading to ornate gold plated bell-shaped tassels, reminiscent of the brooch’s intricate cannetille detailing. Each tassel boasts seven delicate droppers, finished with a small faux turquoise cabochon, creating captivating movement.
